Target flowmeter began to be used in industrial flow measurement in 1960s, mainly to solve the flow measurement of fluids with high viscosity and low Reynolds number. It has gone through two stages of development: pneumatic meter and electric meter. DYL series intelligent target flowmeter is a new type of flow measurement instrument based on the original strain gauge target flowmeter measurement principle, using the latest capacitive force sensor as the measurement and sensitive transmission element, and using modern digital intelligent processing technology.
principle of operation
When the medium flows in the measuring tube, the pressure difference caused by its own kinetic energy passing through the choke (target) has a force on the choke, and the magnitude of the force is proportional to the square of the medium flow rate, and its mathematical expression is as follows;

Where: F----the acting force on the spoiler (kg)                      Cd-1 resistance coefficient of object
A---the axial projection area of the choke on the measuring tube (mm2)     P---the medium density under the working condition (kg/m3)
V-Average velocity of medium in measuring tube (rm/s)
The acting force f received by the choke (target) is transmitted to the capacitive force sensor through the rigidly connected transmission piece (measuring rod), and the capacitive force sensor generates a voltage signal output

Where: V-----Voltage output by capacitive force sensor (mV)
             K----to-1 proportional constant,
             F-----the force acting on the choke (target) (kg)
Therefore, the corresponding instantaneous flow and cumulative total can be obtained after pre-amplification, AD conversion and computer processing of this voltage signal.
